Glenn A. and Barbara S. (Cherry) Shawver, of Lewistown, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
They were married Sept. 27, 1958, at the Lewistown C&MA Church, Juniata Terrace, with the Rev. Wilbterton C. Neff conducting the service.
They are the parents of Kenneth, of Lewistown, and Brian, of Granville. They have three grandchildren, Chad and wife, Autumn, Clint and Kali Shawver, and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Peytown Shawver.

Glenn retired from New Holland in Belleville in 2001. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960.
Barbara formerly worked at Wolf Furniture, Viscose and Fisher Electronics. She is now a homemaker and attends the Lewistown C&MA Church.
