Dean and Ella Griffith, of Columbus, Ga., formerly of Mifflin County, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 12.
A celebration was hosted by their children, Scott, Rob and Renee, at the Continuing Education Center of Columbus State University, where Dean is employed.
Local siblings include Forrest Kauffman, of Belleville, Barry Griffith, of Lewistown, and Dorene Bell, of Reedsville.
