Dorothy M. Harpster

LEWISTOWN — Dorothy M. Harpster, 92, formerly of Burgard Apartments in Lewistown, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Ohesson Manor.

Born Dec. 14, 1915, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Adam Slautterback and Eva Rowe Slautterback.

Surviving are: her children, Mrs. Clifford (Judy) Goss, of Reedsville, Mrs. Marvin (Donna) Gearhart, of Gettysburg, and Deborah Murrell, of McClure; a sister, Janet Majors, of Washington; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Slatterback.

Early in life, she worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory.

Her graveside funeral will be private at Juniata Memorial Park.
