Floral shop moves across town

LEWISTOWN — The longtime owners of Lewistown Florist Inc., have found a new home for their business.

The business is now located at the Kish Creek Center, Suite B, 129 S. Main Street, in Lewistown, between the Medicine Shoppe and the Wine & Spirits Shop. Store owner Mark Lawson said the new location offers more space for customers to park and it provides easier access for customers of the store.

“We decided to relocate because we wanted a more open area and we wanted to add more product,” Lawson said.

The store has been in business for about 60 years. Lawson and his wife, Pam, have owned the business since 1982. Before becoming involved with the store, Lawson had been in the flower business for 31 years.

Since the new location has more space, they have been able to expand their products selection, Lawson said. Services offered include contemporary arrangements, silk arrangements, wedding and funeral designs, as well as an extensive gift line and gourmet and fruit baskets.

“We are a full service florist, looking for new ideas every day,” Lawson said.

The store is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, call 248-9683 or visit the store’s Web site at http://'>'>'>
