Casners celebrate 50th anniversary

Ronald and Anna (Kauffman) Casner, of McVeytown, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on April 26, 1958, at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Junior Gotshall conducting the ceremony.

The anniversary was celebrated with a party hosted by their daughters, Tammy Casner, of McVeytown, and Carla Fink, of Lewistown, on April 12, at the Granville United Methodist Church social hall.

They have two grandchildren.

He is retired from Omega Bank. She is retired from Meadowview Manor.

They are members of the McVeytown United Methodist Church.

They attribute the success of the their marriage to trust in each other and love.
