CU is a great spot to share photos

April 1, 2008 - Buffie Boyer
Hello, Juniata Valley. I am Buffie Boyer, the chief photographer here at The Sentinel. I have been shooting for The Sentinel since 1994 and have been able to meet and photograph many residents in our area. Sharing the photos that I take with our readers allows me to let you see the Juniata Valley through my eyes. Now I with The Sentinel’s new photo hosting and sharing Web site, CU (See You), I get to see our region through your eyes. Readers can create their own online photo galleries on the You CU part of the site, which is at Once on the Web site, you can share photos of anything, from your child’s sporting events to your pets and landscapes. Posting pictures from your life allows you to share photos with friends and family near and far. To post photos, you’ll need to set up an account, which is free and easy. All it takes is a valid e-mail address. Once you’ve signed up, a confirmation e-mail is sent to verify your new CU account. The other component of CU is called We CU, in which Sentinel staff will post photos taken at area events. Normally, one or two of the photos might make it into The Sentinel’s print edition, but all the photos that were taken at an event will be uploaded to CU for your viewing pleasure. Prints of these photos can be purchased. Hopefully, you will share your photos. I will be discussing the other options you have to share your photos with us including, Genre, Virtual Newsroom, Community Life, Snapshots and email.
