To the editor:

God is good. Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 started out like any other typical Monday. However, by early evening that cold Monday turned into a tragedy for our family. My husband, our father, Harry L. Aultz was killed in a car accident. God is good. Our family has experienced heartache beyond belief. The first few hours are still a blur from that horrific night, but our family immediately felt the prayers of all who knew Harry and know us. God surrounded us with people who love us and continue to lift us in prayer.

My family and I are not alone in our pain, many people of all ages are hurting with us. Therefore, I lift all of them up in prayer. We find strength and peace in knowing Harry went to be with our Lord Savior.

We can say God is good because God has been with us every step of the way as we go through the grieving process. We are so touched and blessed by the outpouring of love and support that we have received and continue to receive from this community. We can never say thank you enough to everyone that has reached out to us.

There are so many others who have shown their support, too many to list but not too many to forget. Just know we thank you all and appreciate every single one of you. We are grateful for all your prayers, cards, kind words, phone calls, text messages and acts of kindness toward our family.

We no longer have Harry here on earth, but God is good. We do have our families, church, friends, colleagues and support of our community. We thank you all!
