Have you ever thought about it in this way?
To the editor:
Greetings: Have you ever listened to someone for a while and wondered “Who ties your shoes?” then thought “Does it make any difference?”
That brings me to another thought: “If guns kill people, then do pencils misspell words?” Or have you ever thought “How can we stop drunk drivers?” or “Should we ban cars?” Should we ban spoons because they make people fat? Maybe someone should invent spoons that disintegrate after a set number times of lifts to the mouth.
I have often wondered why people live on the brink. Then I wonder, “What is a brink?” Perhaps we should bring this to our law makers and open a discussion about making new laws that outlaw “brinks.” Would that reduce accidents?
