Thanks for support of BMS annual auction

To the editor:

Belleville Mennonite School would like to extend appreciation to each business sponsor, donor, volunteer and buyer who contributed time and support to the 51st annual auction on April 15 and 16. With a goal of $72,000, the auction raised $78,000 in support of Christian education for students in the community.

Auction committee members, Reed and April Henderson, Rachel French, and Brett and Josie Rogers each served the school through their time and dedication to this event. Amanda Yoder also generously gave of her time and resources to manage solicitation. Additionally, 90 volunteers took part in the auction by lending their time to service through soliciting businesses for donations, preparing food, and organizing and planning many details. Beyond those 90 individuals, 35 more volunteers spent countless hours quilting the traditional handmade masterpiece quilts for the quilt auction. Thank you, volunteers!

Finally, we would like to express appreciation to each supporter that purchased auction items, baked goods, turkey dinners, quilts and much more. Your support and presence this year and each year truly make it a one-of-a-kind community event.
