Thankful for the many offers of help tendered

To the editor:

Several days ago while shopping at the Weis Market in Burnham I misplaced my walking cane, much to my dismay. I searched anxiously, and many kind people came to my aid during this time, but with no success. Finally, I left the store without it and got into my car. As I prepared to leave, the manager came running out – he had found the cane! I was so very relieved.

I wish to extend my thanks to everyone who offered their help that day. Our town is full of good, caring people and I am very thankful. Sincerely: “A Very Satisfied Customer.”
