TSA grateful for support from board, community
To the editor:
The students, parents, and teachers involved in the Technology Student Association at the Mifflin County Junior and Senior high schools would like to thank the school board and the community for their support.
Seventeen high school and eight junior high school students competed in the 2014 State TSA Conference held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort April 9-12. Many of the students were finalists in one or more competitive events while four of them were top-three finishers in Flight Endurance, Photographic Technology, Transportation Modeling, and Flight Challenge (middle school). Several of these students are now making plans to attend and compete in the national conference in Washington D.C.
In addition to the Mifflin County School Board and administrators, these students would like to thank Paul A. Kline Insurance, Hartley’s Potato Chip Co., Lake Chevrolet, Lake Ford, Juniata Valley National Bank, First Quality Baby Products, Jarden Plastic Solutions, and Lewistown Bon-Ton for their moral and financial support. Thank you for helping to provide students with the opportunity to develop technological skills and discover STEM-related careers.
