I wonder if all of the chemical weapons have moved out of Syria yet. We haven’t heard much about that recently. I doubt it. They are probably still in Syria.
I used to read the Open Line to give my spirits a lift after reading all the other bad stuff in the paper. Not worth reading anymore, might as well go back to my old paper …
They can do all the studies they want, but an asphalt plant in Reedsville is going to stink.
It is time for the Mifflin County Library to change hours so that working people and students are not chased out of the library at 4 p.m. By closing at 4 p.m. it is essentially closed to those groups of people. By opening at noon and staying open later it can better suit all those who live in Mifflin County.
If Putin decides he wants Alaska back like some callers thought he might, Sarah Palin better leave because she can see Russia from her backyard.
