Reader sees a link between abortion, crime and Planned Parenthood

To the editor:

As a resident of the Susquehanna Valley, I want to congratulate The Sentinel for its fair minded presentation of the news. We all know much of the media is slanted to the right or the left.

Editorials such as, “Improving access to mental health care may help stop mass violence” and “Celebrate safely this Christmas” certainly indicates your paper’s educational contribution to your readership. Your fair approach to Letters to the Editor should be an example to competing media. One rarely sees letters that contain religious content or pro-life issues set forth. Most media I suspect avoid those issues. Is it because they disagree with the presentation or do they see those issues as too political and don’t want the current politicos upset?

If the current politicos are upset, then what must the black community be? According to the Guttmacher Institute, 69 percent among blacks abort their babies. The president’s supported Planned Parenthood’s history has Margaret Sanger saying about her speech to the Ku Klux Klan:

“I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan … I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses … I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak … In the end, through simple illustrations, I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

1) Her other statements include “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

2) “Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock.”

3) “Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste. Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”

1.”Negroes and Southern Europeans are mentally inferior to native born Americans”

2.3. “More children from the fit, less from the unfit.”

3.4. “apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.”

Additionally, year 2013 media headlines told the plight of American society today:

“In 2012, Los Angeles reported 298 homicides,” “There are an alarming number of deaths in US jails,” “Gun rampage in southern Louisiana leaves four dead including shooter,” “Newtown shooting report to be released by Connecticut state police,” “LAX shooting suspect pleads not guilty on 11 counts,” “Colorado student injured in school shooting dies,” “Violent crime rises for second consecutive year.” It was found that 26 of every 1,000 people experienced violent crime, with a 15 percent increase in how many people reported being victims of rape, robbery or assault. Property crime – burglary, theft and car theft – rose 12 percent.

Add the millions of aborted babies and it is hard to believe what goes on in the United States. What is the answer? The President should start by disengaging his support for Planned Parenthood’s abortions and supporting his black community and its religious leaders in their education of their mothers and fathers about abortion.
