Thanks to those who made Gift Show a success

To the editor:

St. John’s Christian Daycare and Preschool would like to thank the following individuals and businesses who helped make our second annual Christmas Gift Show a huge success: Bryson Wagner, Paul Payne, Kirk Pry, Ken Kauffman, Taste of the Valley, Rich Coast Coffee, Teresa King, Shanna Booher, Jen Hartzler, Whitehall Store, Dayze Gone Bye Carriage Rides, Bushman at Home, Victory Antiques, Mary Lee’s Fabric Shop, Yoder’s Tees and More, The Furniture Barn, Brookemere Winery, Allensville Planing Mill, Westside Gallery, Fisher Thompson, Country Village Restaurant, Deb Colwell, Sandy Anderson, and Abrams and Weakly General Store of Harrisburg.

We at St. John’s are grateful for the donations of time, money, and product that resulted in us being able to continue the Casey A. Marthouse Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund was established in early 2009 in memory of Casey who was employed at the daycare until her untimely death in November of 2008. A big thank you to her mom and dad Jim and Daphne, and sister Lindsey, who are very instrumental in keeping this fund alive. Susan Keller also plays a very important role in the planning and carrying out of the gift show. Casey’s extended family deserves a big thank you also. Their involvement helps keep the memory of Casey alive here at the daycare.

Thanks again to everyone involved in helping make our annual Gift Show successful. It could not be done without your support.
