Lions thank ‘Breakfast for Breast Cancer’ folks
To the editor:
The Burnham Lions Club wishes to thank all of those that participated in the recent “Breakfast for Breast Cancer” fundraiser for the Pennsylvania Pink Zone. Special thanks to those that donated their time and monies: Jeff Burke of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, both Burnham and Lewistown Giant Food Stores, Burnham Dunkin Donuts, The (Lewistown) Sentinel, Jeff Stevens of WIEZ Radio, Rocco Pallotto of MERF Radio, the Fayette Lions Club in McAlisterville, and especially Betty Lou Naylor, her children’s group and the entire congregation of the McAlisterville United Methodist Church. Without all of those attending and special donators, this project could not have been a success.
We especially appreciate Miriam Powell, Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Pink Zone, Kay Hamilton, CEO/President and Phyllis Mitchell, VP Marketing and Community Affairs of Lewistown Hospital, Mayor Loyce Harpster, Burnham, and Mayor Deb Bargo, Lewistown, Judge Timothy Searer, Attorney Dave Barron and the entire public for their attendance.
