Charges discrimination in Christmas party ban

To the editor:

I feel that I am being discriminated against. The Muslims can celebrate a national day of prayer and call it a “Muslim day of prayer.” The Jews can celebrate Hanukkah and call it “Hanukkah.” The nation celebrates a holiday in January and calls it “Martin Luther King” day. Why then, am I not permitted to have a celebration in December and call it a “Christmas party”? This is out and out discrimination.

Our country was established because people fled to America to have religious freedom. Thousands of young men went to war and died to defend this freedom. Where is that freedom today? It appears to me that every religious group in our country except (we) Christians have the freedom to do whatever they desire. Our lawmakers are not doing their job when they allow the minority in this country to rule the majority. Give us back our freedom!
