Kops 4 Kids had yet another successful year

To the editor:

Mifflin County Kops 4 Kids recently held its annual Kamp Kadet Program at Kish Park on July 28-Aug. 1. We had a very successful Kamp Program again this year and sincerely appreciate all of those who donated resources and/or their time.

Kamp Kadet is free to all the area youth participants for the entire week and would not be possible year after year without those donations.

K4K received donations from the following organizations and individuals: The Abuse Network, Brian Baker & Bella, Burnham Fire Co., Burnham OIP, Burham Pool staff and borough, City Hook and Ladder, Derry Township and park staff, Domino’s Pizza, Fame EMS, First Quality, Fisher Brothers Inc., Granville Township Police Department, Harshbarger’s Sub and Malt, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Len Pefer at Len’s Dairy, Lerch’s RV, Life Flight Crew, McDonald’s, Mifflin County Communication Center, Mifflin County Correctional Facility, Mifflin County Domestic Relations, Mifflin County Regional Police Department, PA State Fire Academy, Parson’s Towning Service, Reedsville Fire Co., and South Side Hoagies.

Each of these businesses has continued to support K4K throughout the years and we hope that the public will support these locations for giving back to their community.

Thank you each and every one from Mifflin County Kops 4 Kids and staff. More information on th K4K Program is available at www.mcrpd.org.
