Family thanks those who supported golf tourney

To the editor:

On June 15, 2013 at the Lewistown Country Club, 26 teams enjoyed a beautiful day of golf and participated in the “Drive for the Cure” golf tournament, in memory of Doug King who passed away in February 2013.

Doug had a passion for golf. We were overjoyed that we could honor and remember him while doing something he loved.

Our family is extremely grateful to all those who made our event a huge success; the players, the Lewistown Country Club staff and to those who made contributions.

We would especially like to thank the following sponsors:

H.C. Kerstetter Company, Koontz Insurance Agency, Ricardo Carter, M.D., Barr Funeral Home, Anker Industries of Pittsburgh, Pediatric Dental Care, Zeke Acker’s Quality Cars, PRN Medical Staffing, J.P. Edward’s, The Trolley Car, Zampelli Electronics, 4 Telecom Help, Brookmere Winery, Pronto, King Physical Therapy, Lewistown Florist, Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Vince’s Pizza, Brown Funeral Homes, I.P. Enterprises of Pittsburgh, Fisher and Smith Families, West End Service Store, Doug and Leah Rothrock, Benefit Management Group, MCS Bank, Leanne Bell, Kish Bank, Hess Tire and Auto Parts, Don and Judy Peace, Lake Ford-Lincoln, Deihl’s Flowers and the 717 Club.

All of you are the reason we will finish the fight against cancer.
