Thankful for a caring community and family

To the editor:

Recently I became quite ill and had to be hospitalized in Lewistown Hospital. The care I received as a patient there was beyond what I ever expected.

With all the sad and ugly things happening in todays world it is so comforting to know we are fortunate enough to have such compassionate and professional people working for the good of others and not just a paycheck. I am still very weak. Lord willing my strength will come back soon. This hit me so hard and fast.

I really want to take this time to thank everyone involved with my care from Lewistown dispatch to BVAC, Joy Byler and Rachael Suloff, ALS, Zack Myers and Josh Neff, the BVFC for the lift assist, Bob Glick, John Chester, Pastor Kampa, Ty Kline and Keith Peachey;

To all the wonderful care from Lewistown Hospital ER to Dr. Sharma, Dr. Zia, Dr. Michael Edens, Dr. Acosta, Dr., Pagnotto, lab and respiration staff, the fantastic nurses RN, LPN and PCAs on the third and fourth floors; Max Zook for giving me communion for the first time in 12 plus years, and my family.

I truly have been blessed by all of you. Your compassion is something that is worth so much more then a thank you. I pray if I have forgotten to thank anyone that they know it was totally by accident.

May God truly bless each of you as you have blessed me
