Thank you, moms
Mother’s Day is Sunday. If this is news to you, then our suggestion would be to quickly figure out a way to honor your mother that day.
But if your mother is like so many others out there, you’re lucky — even if she is no longer with us.
Mothers are the very best of us. They do so many things so often for us that it’s taken for granted that they do. Often, even when their children have grown up and become adults — and parents — themselves, our mothers still continue to want nothing more than for their children to be safe and happy.
So, for at least one day a year, we turn the tables. We take mom out to eat. We give her gifts. We spend time with her. All to show that we really do appreciate her and what she’s done.
And if you’re one of the many mothers out there reading this right now, know this — your children really do love you, even if they don’t always show it or say it.
To all the moms out there, whether this is your first one as a mom or your 100th, we hope you have the very happiest of Mother’s Days and that you get what all moms really want — to know you’re loved and appreciated.
