Harry L. Aultz

Harry L. Aultz, 49, of Lewistown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, following an automobile accident.

Born Feb. 10, 1969, in Lewistown, he was a son of Harry J. and Judy A. (Bloom) Aultz, of Burnham. His wife, Lori A. (Curfman) Aultz, whom he married April 1, 1989, survives.

Also surviving are: three children, Joshua H., Allison R. and Jonas L. Aultz, all at home; and a sister, Sue A. Baumgardner and husband, Jeffrey, of Lewistown.

A graduate of Lewistown Area High School, Pennsylvania State University and Wilkes University, Mr. Aultz was employed as a secondary history teacher at the Mifflin County Junior High School and he was also a junior high and varsity football coach.

Harry was a member of the Granville United Methodist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher and Sunday school superintendent. He also served as director of the Seven Mountains Boy Scout Camp for three summers and he was very involved with the Order of the Arrow.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. 5th St., Lewistown, with Pastor G. Edward Corcelius and Pastor William Howe officiating. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday Feb. 1, 2019, at Evangel Baptist Church, as well as from 1 p.m. until the time of service, Saturday.
