Larry K. Kearns

Larry K. Kearns, 77, formerly of McClure R.D. 1, passed away Sept. 15, 2018 at his home in Broken Bow, Okla.

Larry was born in Lewistown on Jan. 11, 1941, the son of the late William B. Kearns and Dorothy (McElroy) Kearns.

Larry is survived by his sons, Timothy A. Kearns and Scott A. Kearns, both of Broken Bow, Okla.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Charolette (Ruby) Kearns, an infant son Larry K. Kearns Jr. and brothers Bruce E. Kearns, William B. Kearns Jr., Jack H. Kearns and George H. Kearns.

Larry graduated from Lewistown Vocational School in 1959. Early in life, he worked at Nellis Industries in McClure and Standard Steel in the rigging gang, but for most of his life, he was an iron worker. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 772.

Working construction jobs around the country, he settled in Broken Bow before retiring.

Larry liked listening to the Texas Rangers baseball games on the radio and he had a lifelong love of tractors, of which he owned six.

Larry will be greatly missed by his sons, nieces, nephews and friends. There are no services pending at this time.
