Thomas F. Wills

Thomas F. Wills, 67, of 172 Second St., Belleville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at his home.

Born July 16, 1951, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Harry and Madelyn (Stuck) Wills. Tom is survived by a son, Nathaniel T. Wills and his wife, Kathleen, and their children, Mason N. and Logan T. of East Amherst, N.Y. He is also survived by a brother, Donald J. Wills, and first cousin, Joseph M. Wills III, both of Belleville.

Tom is a 1969 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and a 1973 graduate of Juniata College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in political science. He was a plumbing supplies salesman by trade, retiring in 2015. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing and managing Twilight baseball, which then progressed into a dedication for serving as a youth baseball umpire for the PIAA and other local associations. He was a proud member of the Greenlee Hunting Club, having served as secretary for multiple decades, and was a social member of the Huntington VFW, Lewistown Moose and Mill Creek Fire Co. as well as a member of the West Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church in Belleville. A loving brother, father and grandfather, Tom enjoyed hunting, playing golf, spending time at his cottage on Spring Run Road and watching Pirates baseball. Through the last of his days, he continued to enjoy his daily social conversations with everyone he interacted with and he will be sorrowfully missed.

His funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Henderson Funeral Home, 3813 W. Main St., Belleville, with Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Burial will take place at Machpelah Cemetery following the service. His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
