Sharon A. Moore

Born Aug. 2, 1947, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Nellie Slemons and Arthur Glen Crownover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria V. Stein, and brothers, Dennis Bishop Jr. and Daniel Bishop Sr.

Sharon is survived by: her loving husband, Robert J. Moore Jr., of Lewistown; her children, Tracy Street, of Lewistown, Diana Bowsman, of Ryde, Gary Street Jr., of Levittown, and Sherry Guthridge and husband, Richard Jr., of Granville; siblings, Glenda Bienkowski and husband, Michael, of McClure, Denise Brittian and husband, Donald, of Lewistown, Debbie Henry, of Lewistown, and Stephen Bishop and wife, Ruth, of Strodes Mills; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Sharon was employed at Red’s Diner for many years as a waitress and cook.

A memorial service in loving memory of Sharon will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, at the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan St., with Pastor John Walters officiating. There will be a time of visitation held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
