Nancy M. Fulton

Nancy M. Fulton, 84, of Millerstown, went home to be with the Lord at 8:46 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018, at Locust Grove Retirement Village.

She was born April 7, 1933, in Indiana, Pa., to the late Luther and Dorothy (Moorhead) Uber. She was married to William D. Fulton Sr. on Nov. 5, 1953.

She attended the Keith School in Indiana, Pa. She worked for Bell Telephone as a long distance operator in Pittsburgh, at Maidstone Arms in Long Island and as a crossing guard in Willow Grove, where she and her husband lived until 1977. She was a volunteer at Abundant Blessings in Mifflintown for 12 years, pricing books, which she loved.

She loved the Lord, supported missions and was a prayer warrior, upholding many in prayer, those she knew and didn’t know. She had a ministry of encouragement and sent many cards and letters over the years. She loved riding her horse in the woods and taking walks, watching the birds, reading books about faith and writing poetry.

Nancy is survived by: her husband of 64 years, William D. Fulton Sr.; daughter, Robin Fulton; son, William D. (Tressan) Fulton Jr.; granddaughter, Christiana Kepner, great- granddaughters, Summer Goodling and Asia Kepner; and sister Paula Vogt. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Raymond Vogt.

Nancy was laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be no public service. Memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse International Relief, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC. 28607, a ministry that was important to her.

A special thank you to all the staff at Locust Grove who made us part of their family for a brief time.

Arrangements by the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport.
