Pauline J. Stoltzfus

Pauline J. Stoltzfus, 87, formerly of Paradise, passed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at the Mennonite Home.

She was the wife of the late Jay J. Stoltzfus, who passed away on July 31, 2017. They had celebrated 61 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Fred A. and Mildred V. Walter Cavanaugh.

She was a member of the Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church, McVeytown and had attended Keystone Church of Paradise. Pauline worked for McCrorys Store for eight years and sang Christian songs in a trio on WKVA radio, Lewistown. Before coming to Lancaster she worked as a nurses aid. Pauline had various other jobs including working at Victor Weaver Plant and Market. She loved reading, doing ceramics, NASCAR, yodeling, playing games with her grandchildren and great-grandchil- dren and taking them camping.

Surviving are: two daugters, Susan Y., wife of David Hibshman, of Denver, Pa., and Carol J., wife of Theodore Weidenhoft, of Glen Burnie, Md., five grandchildren; four great-grandchil- dren; and nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by: a great-granddaughter, Karissa Lynn Shaub; and her siblings, Goldie Jeffries, Estella Pennepacker, Frances Henry, Shirley Reese, Helen Wray and James and Kenneth Cavanaugh.

A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at Keystone Church, 20 Harristown Road, Paradise, with a time to greet the family at a reception following the service. Pastor Charles Walter will be officiating. Interment will take place at 9:30 a.m. prior to the memorial service at Millwood Mennonite Cemetery, 441 Amish Road, Gap.
