Leslie Anne Yohn

Leslie Anne Yohn, 42, of Lewistown, passed into eternal peace and was welcomed by her Mimi and daughter, Talliah, on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at Geisinger Holy Spirit, Camp Hill.

Born June 2, 1975, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Dana (Reigle) and Anthony Goss, and Larry and Delores Yohn, who survive.

She was preceded in death by: her maternal grandparents, Charles “Bert” and Shirley Reigle (Mimi and Pappy); paternal grandparents, Larry Sr. and Gloria Yohn (Grandma and Pappy); and an infant daughter, Talliah Ponder.

In addition to her parents, Leslie is survived by: her sons, Tyrus and Taytdum Fortson; a brother, Lucas Goss and wife, Cassandra; several nieces, nephews and cousins; aunts and uncles, Lori and Michael Legradi, Karen and Jeff Kilmer, Linda Stuter, Cindy North, and Melissa and Jeff Sellers; stepsiblings, Jade Bottorff, Cherrie Hassinger, Marlin Hassinger and wife, Heather, and Marsha Hassinger; and her cats, Tinker and Spunk.

She was a 1993 graduate of Indian Valley High School, Empire Beauty School and a member of her high school swim team. Leslie was employed as a nail technician at the Perfect Reflection Salon in Lewistown and was known as the most creative nail tech in town. Her coworkers, Carol, Mary, Dee, Becky, Kim and Maddie were a large part of her life for the past several years, and mourn her loss.

Leslie’s boys were her life and were loved so much, as well as her family, friends, and of course, Tinker and Spunk. She was an imaginative, rambunctious soul who loved life and was determined to experience and enjoy it. She would be the first to be up for a good time, loved summer, being in the sunshine and swimming. She was a “Hello Kitty” enthusiast and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

She was the person that would help you with anything and was truly unforgettable. She missed her Mimi every day and is now with her. We know she’ll be safe there.

A receiving of friends will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to her sons, Tyrus and Taytdum Fortson, 109 Walnut St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
