Peggy L. Rothrock

Born Nov. 17, 1955, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Merle Hubler and Joan (Guthridge) Hubler, who survives.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Hubler.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by: her children, Michael C.D. Duncan, Heather C. Beaston and husband, Jason, and Charles E. Duncan Jr., all of Mifflin; granddaughter, whom she raised, Cloe A. Breon and husband, Todd Sr., of Lewistown; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Nina Colabine, of Burnham, Sandra Eward and husband, Ron, Paula Hubler, and Billy Hubler and wife, Ruth, all of Lewistown.

Peggy attended Penn Highlands High School, Lewistown campus.

Earlier in life, she attended Bible Baptist Church.

She enjoyed baking; especially making whoopie pies, peanut butter pies and no bake cookies. Peggy liked talking on the telephone and she cared for everyone.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Traxler officiating.

Interment will take place in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
