Harry R. Laub Jr.
Harry R. Laub Jr., 61, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at his home.
Born July 30, 1955, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Myrtle B. (Smith) and H. Robert Laub.
He is survived by his brother, Wayne C. Laub, and his companion, Veronica Shultz, of Lewistown, and his sister, Tammy B. Fultz and her husband, Douglas, of Yeagertown.
Harry was a 1974 graduate of Chief Logan High School.
Earlier in life, he worked at Sitkins Scrapyard, Fruehauf Trailer Corporation, the American Legion in McClure, the Black Horse Tavern, Wood-Mode Cabinetry in Kreamer and the Lewistown Moose.
He was a lifetime member of Decatur, Yeagertown and East Derry fire companies, the Lewistown Moose, West End Sportsman’s Club and many other organizations.
Harry enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing pool, darts and watching NASCAR and football.
Private services, with the Rev. William Hunsicker officiating, will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in Samuel’s Cemetery, McClure.
