Geneva C. Farrar
Geneva C. Farrar, 80, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:43 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.
Born March 5, 1936, in Ashaway, R.I., she was a daughter of the late Fred A. and Marion G. (Arnold) Brayman. Having been preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters, she was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by two spouses, lastly, Gene E. Farrar, and a daughter, May Dumsar.
She is survived by: children, Donna Pearce and husband, David, and Joyce Caswell, both of Florida, Donald B. Allen Jr. and wife, Mary Greenaway Allen, of Lewistown, and Jody Root, of California; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
During her childhood, she and her twin sister, Virginia, would sing on the radio during the war years. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ at church and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting and reading.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
