Robert E. Berich
REEDSVILLE – Robert E. Berich, 80, of 46 Prince St., Reedsville, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at his residence.
Born Aug. 1, 1933, in Milroy, he was a son of the late Frank Daniel and Ruth Elizabeth (Kurtz) Berich. His wife, Laura M. (Smith) Berich, preceded him in death on Jan. 27, 2003.
Surviving are: children, Diane Ehrenfeld and husband, Paul, of Harrisburg, Cynthia Corbin and husband, James Jr., of Milroy, and Terry L. Berich and wife, Holly, of Lewistown; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Richard Berich, of Reedsville, and Carole Henderson, of Belleville.
He owned and operated Bob’s Locksmith and Key Shop, Gardenview, Reedsville, and retired in 1999 from Standard Steel, Burnham, with 44 years of service.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Milroy Legion, Moose Family Center, Lodge No. 143, Lewistown and the Milroy Lions Club.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with the Rev. Douglas D. Sabin. Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
There will be no viewing, however, family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
