Mildred L. ‘Dolly’ Fronk

THOMPSONTOWN – Mildred L. “Dolly” Fronk, 82, of Thompsontown, died at 8:03 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at her home.

Born Sept. 14, 1931, in Thompsontown, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Edwin L. and Margretta (Pennebaker) Sausman. Her husband, Delmar D. Fronk, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage, preceded her in death on July 16, 2009.

Surviving are: her children, Stephen Fronk and his wife, Judy, of McAlisterville, and Beth Sicard and her husband, Mike, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Cory Fronk and his wife, Faith, Trevor Fronk and his wife, Leah, Michael Sicard and his wife, Katie, and Jennifer Feliciano and her husband, Anon; and seven great-grandchildren, Cy Fronk, Aden Fronk, Autumn Fronk, Ashely Fronk, Jonathan Fronk, Caroline Sicard and Scarlett Sicard.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fronk was a member of the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, Bunkertown.

Until retiring in 1992, she was employed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Dolly enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with the Rev. David Barr officiating. After the service, interment will take place in the Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown.

There will be no viewing, but friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
