Daniel F. Wagner
MILROY – Daniel F. Wagner, 71, of Milroy, died at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on Dec. 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Lee F. Wagner and Virginia D. (Longwell) Wagner. In 1965 he married his wife Janice M. (Aumiller) Wagner, who survives.
Daniel is also survived by: children, Lee F. Wagner and wife, Sherry, of Burnham, and Joy L. Rhoads and husband, Bradley E., of Reedsville; siblings, Don Linn, Dave Wagner, and Bessie Shilling, all of Lewistown; and grandchildren, Kyle Wagner, Devon Wagner, Rance Patton, Seth Wagner, and Jenna Rhoads.
Before retirement he was a mechanic for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Daniel was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Daniel was a life member of the blue Rock Sportsmans Club, member of Strongs Improvement Camp and a member of the Devils Hole Hunting Camp.
A gathering of friends will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29 at the Blue Rock Sportsmans Club, New Lancaster Valley. There will be no public viewing.
