Mary M. Narehood
REEDSVILLE – Mary M. Narehood, 80, of Reedsville, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.
Born May 31, 1934, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Landis William and Sylvia Irene (Hubler) Treaster. Her husband, Barry L. Narehood, whom she married on May 23, 1980, survives.
She is survived by: children, Catherine A. Dixon, of Ebensburg, Sussannah Stuck, of Lewistown, Ira T. Rodenizer, of Lewistown, and Steven L. Rodenizer, of Harrisburg; brothers and sisters, Betty Fuhrman, of Selinsgrove, Virginia Shannon, of Lewistown, Inez McKnight, of Shrader, William Treaster, of Richfield, Paul Treaster, of Sunbury, Barbara Hicks, of Selinsgrove, and Glenn Treaster, of Lewistown; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Gertrude Dill, Sam Hubler, James Treaster, Alma Lee, Charles Treaster and Shirley Richards.
She had worked at the Lewistown Hospital and did private house cleaning. She attended Reedsville United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastor Jean Ward officiating. Interment will take place at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
