Floyd B. Stanton
CARLISLE – Floyd B. Stanton, of Carlisle, born February 3, 1966, went home to be with Yahweh March 17, 2014.
Born in Baltimore, the son of Floyd Denver Stanton and Marguerite Barber-Stanton. He was the beloved father of Angelica (Seth) Black, Elizabeth, Gage, Julia, Laurel, and Emily Stanton.
During his working years, Floyd was primarily involved in the sales profession selling memberships for the National Federation of Independent Business and National Write Your Congressman organizations. He was a member of Lev Y’shua Messianic Congregation of State College.
Floyd was a talented vocalist who was blessed with a rich tone and wide vocal range. He sang with the State College Choral Society and Essence of Joy Singers. During his career, Floyd held a ministers license in the Church of God. He was very entrepreneurially minded and had a love of books particularly with regard to business, sales, and ministry.
The desire of his heart was to spend time with his children. His body was donated to science.
A memorial service will be arranged and held at a later date for close friends and family.
