Richard L. ‘Dick’ Sizer

McCLURE – Richard L. “Dick” Sizer, 73, of McClure, died on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at his home.

Born on March 30, 1941, in West Beaver, Snyder County, he was a son of the late John A. H. and Mary K. (McKee) Sizer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Duke and Lois Davidson, and a brother, George Sizer.

Dick is survived by his brother-in-law, Donald Davidson, of McClure, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of McClure High School.

Earlier in life, he had worked at the Viscose in Lewistown.

He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

Dick belonged to the McClure Fire Co. and Brooklyn Hose Co. No. 3.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
