Thomas M. Milliken
HONEY GROVE – Thomas M. Milliken, 52, of Honey Grove, died at 2:29 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born on Oct. 30, 1961, in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, he was a son of the late Harry L. Milliken and Mary Lou (Burd) Lay. On Dec. 12, 1981, he married his surviving wife, Teresa (Trego) Milliken, with whom he spent more than 32 years of marriage.
Surviving are: his children, Thomas M. Milliken and his wife, Leslie, of Thompsontown, and Timothy P. Milliken, of Honey Grove; a stepmother, Joan M. (Wilt) Milliken, of Honey Grove; a sister, Lou Ann Julian and her husband, Ronald, of Middletown; a brother, Robert H. Milliken, of Charlotte, N.C.; a stepsister, Robin Wilt, of Honey Grove; and he leaves behind two grandchildren.
Tom was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. When his health permitted, he was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a great sports enthusiast, enjoying NASCAR, football and basketball.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Dennis Thompson officiating. After the service, interment will be in the McCulloch’s Mills Cemetery.
Viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
