Frederick Bosworth Moore III
LEWISTOWN – Frederick Bosworth Moore III, 64, died at 11:58 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on Aug. 29, 1949, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frederick Bosworth Moore Jr. and Helen (Everman) Moore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Gabriel Rios.
Fred is survived by: his wife, Pamela F. (Riley) Moore, whom he married on May 7, 1992; his children, Shannon Creque and husband, John, of Carlisle, Pammilinn Payton, of Culpepper, Va., Devan Speakman, of Milroy, and Don’ea Moore, of Burnham; grandchildren, Adam Rios Jr., Courtney Creque, Chantel Rios, Miguel Rios, Marcus Payton, Elizabeth Didalowsky, Lauren Stavitski, Victoria Caddy, Rebecca Caddy, Noah Reed, Hunter Speakman and Carter Mason Moore; brother, Gary Moore, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sister, Audrey Douglas and husband, Al, of Palmetto, Fla.; nephews, Gary Moore Jr. and his daughter, Summer, and Craig Moore; and nieces, Audrey Dannenfelser and husband, Edward, and their daughter, Kylee, Rebecca Moore and Kelly Moore.
Fred served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972.
He was a truck driver for Parks Garbage out of Mount Union.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lewistown.
Fred loved trains and spending time with his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, Lewistown with the Rev. Karen McCachren officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
There will also be a viewing held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the church.
Interment with VFW honors will take place in Birch Hill Cemetery.
