Edward P. Duda
LEWISTOWN – Edward P. Duda, 68, of Lewistown, died at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at his home.
Born on June 9, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Paul and Catherine (Shultz) Duda.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christian E. Duda, on Feb. 6, 2003.
He is survived by: his wife, Carol J. (Stanton) Duda, whom he married on Dec. 19, 1970; daughter, Lisa DeArmitt; son-in-law, Michael DeArmitt, all of Lewistown; three grandchildren, Aaron, Ashley and Austin DeArmitt; two great-grandchildren, Mariah DeArmitt and Malakai DeArmitt; and sisters, Paula Feeney, of Shavertown, and Theresa Homza and husband, Jack, of Harvey’s Lake.
Edward was a 1963 graduate of Clarksville High School, where he played football. He also attended Penn State for two years in the electrical engineering field.
He was the vice president of technical services at E.N. Dunlap Inc. in Harrisburg until retirement.
Edward was an avid hunter and fly fisherman. He loved spending time with family.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
