Anna Mae Stine

LEWISTOWN – Anna Mae Stine, 95, of Lewistown, died at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at her home.

Born on June 13, 1918, in Derry Township, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Laura Mae (Hoverocker) Shea.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Milford L. Stine, in 1989; a daughter, Linda Stine; a son, Gary Stine; a brother, Ray Shea; and sisters, Betty Harper, Mary Elliott and Ruth Musselman.

She is survived by: children, Lawrence Stine and wife, Donna, of Mifflin, Gerald Stine, Shirley Sattler, Nancy Miller and husband, John, all of Lewistown, Darlene Stine and companion, Earl Fike, of Richfield, M. Lynn Stine, Terry Stine and wife, Joy, both of Lewistown, and Annette Fortune, of Atlanta, Ga.; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great- grandchildren.

Mae was a Lutheran by faith.

She loved cooking for her family, taking walks, doing embroidery, watching game shows and reading her Amish books.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Gerald Peachey officiating.

There will be viewing from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Mount Rock Cemetery.
