W. Bruce Wagner

CHARLOTTE, N.C – W. Bruce Wagner, 87, passed away on Feb. 5, 2014, in Charlotte, N.C.

He was born Aug. 27, 1926, in Lewistown. He graduated from Lewistown High School and Susquehanna University. He began his accounting career at Price Waterhouse before joining Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. in Syracuse, N.Y.

After retiring, he and his wife, Natalie, moved to Charlotte, where they have resided for 21 years.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by: his daughter Linda (Jim) Hess, of Newtown, Conn.; his two sons, Richard (April) Wagner, of Carson City, Nev., and Jeffrey (Stephanie) Wagner, of Cartersville, Ga.; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hess, Alex Hess and Hunter Wagner.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at J.B. Tallent Funeral Home, 1937 Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte.
