Margaret Glen Mae ‘Margie’ (Dippery) Kline

BEAVER SPRINGS – Margaret Glen Mae “Margie” (Dippery) Kline, 83, of Beaver Springs, passed away peacefully at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at her new home.

She was born on April 29, 1930, in Lewistown, to Boyd Edward and Ella Grace (Wyke) Dippery.

She attended Lewistown schools before marrying the late Joseph R. Stallone. In 1969, she married the late Paul W. Kline Sr., who passed away in September 2012.

She worked at Angelo’s Hollow Inn and The Sentinel before becoming a full-time-stay-at-home mom.

She boasted of having 15 brothers and sisters who were Dipperys on Elizabeth Street in Lewistown, including but not limited to Boyd, Bob, Ike, Tim, Jim, June, Joan, Gin and Cork, all of whom preceded her in death.

She was the last of her generation. She also buried her son, Jeffrey M. Stallone Sr., and his son, Michael Smith, as well as grandchildren, Michelle Kline, Jaclyn Kline and Braddon Hackenberg.

She is survived by: children, David L. Kline and wife, Deborah, of Beaver Springs, Donald L. Kline, of Middleburg, Joseph R. Stallone Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Lewistown, Debra P. Kline, of Beaver Springs, Deb (Richardson) Stallone, of Houtzdale, Marci A. Hassinger and husband, Ivan, of Beaver Springs, Dianne J. Hackenberg and husband, Barry, of Beavertown, Dale G. Kline and wife, Lawana, of Beaver Springs, and Paul W. “Skip” Kline Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Beavertown, as well as her “adopted” son Donald L. “Knuck” Romig and wife, Deb, of Middleburg.

In addition, she leaves behind a legacy of 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

Margie was a devout Penn State fan, a lover of hummingbirds, hunting, reading, baseball and gardening. She enjoyed being with “The Hole Gang” in Beavertown. She loved to tell of her adventures in Africa and feeding “Suzie,” the bear on the ridge behind the house. But her greatest joy was her family, particularly her grandchildren.

Margie always wanted to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Christ Church in Beaver Springs.

Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the church.
