Judith A. ‘Judy’ Alexander

LEWISTOWN – Judith A. “Judy” Alexander, 74 years, of East Harvard Street, Lewiston, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at her home.

Judy was the daughter of the late Carl and Flo (Shotzberger) Wagner. She is survived by her husband John “Jack” Alexander whom she married Aug. 3, 1958.

Also surviving are two sons John R. Alexander and wife, Brenda, of Reedsville, Eric Alexander and wife, Ginger, of Mifflintown, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by: three sisters, Marjory Barger, Beatrice Boyer, Betty Condrom; and two brothers, William and David Wagner.

Judy worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory and for 22 years, at the Lewistown Childrens Center. She attended the New Life Church in Burnham. She had a great faith that she passed on to many people over the years.

Judy’s greatest love was her family. She always had a great love for working with children. She babysat and taught Sunday school from an early age. She found her true calling when she started teaching at Lewistown Children’s Center.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the New Life Church, 101 Beech St., Burnham, with the Rev. John Walters officiating. A visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Memorial contributuions may be made to the Childrens Center, 10 Bollinger Road, Lewistown, Pa. 17044.
