Joanne A. ‘Jo Jo’ Felix
NARBERTH – Joanne A. “Jo Jo” Felix, 55, of Narberth, passed away Jan. 25, 2014, at Thomas Jefferson Hospital.
Born Sept. 9, 1958, in West Reading, she was a daughter of John W. and Alma A. (Brown) Felix.
She was a 1976 graduate of Oley Valley High School. She earned her bachelors degree in criminal justice from Alvernia University in 1979, and her master’s in finance from St. Joseph University in 1993.
Joanne was employed in financial management for several healthcare companies and last worked on Jan. 2, 2014, for Applied Clinical Intelligence, LLC, Bala Cynwyd, as their chief financial officer.
She was a member of Schwarzwald United Church of Christ, Jacksonwald.
Joanne loved living in Philadelphia. She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed going to games with her father and numerous friends. She traveled extensively around the world but also loved spending time and spoiling her nieces and nephew. She was a wonderful, warm, outgoing person who was upbeat and known for her witty sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents she is survived by: her sisters: Debra S., wife, of Roy H. Christman, of Blandon, and Donna L. Heller, companion of Larry Walker, of Lewistown; her nieces and nephew, Warren B. Christman, Mallory J. Christman, Zoe E. Heller, and Rachel E. Heller. She is also survived by her dear close friends in the Philadelphia area whose support will always be treasured by her family.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 423 Main St., Oley. Viewings will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
