Jacqueline I. Kabo

REEDSVILLE – Jacqueline I. Kabo, 75, of Elmcroft of Reedsville and formerly of Lewistown, died at 4:19 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on Aug. 21, 1938, in Johnstown, Cambria County, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Clare (Dugan) McLaughlin.

One granddaughter, Sheynne Kabo, of Lewistown, survives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kabo, a son, Douglas E. Kabo and a daughter, Stacy L. Kasim.

Jacqueline was a graduate of Lewistown High School and a graduate of the LPN program at Lewistown Hospital, after which she worked at the hospital as an LPN for many years before her retirement.

Jacqueline always enjoyed watching TV, and being a people person, she loved meeting and conversing with people.

There will be no viewing; however, friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.

Interment will be private and held at the Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
