Gerald Mark Stoltzfus

McCLURE – Gerald Mark Stoltzfus, 31, of 1894 Middle Road, Middleburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 6:39 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, in McClure, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.

He was born July 6, 1982, in Lewistown, a son of Omar A. and Carolyn (Schmucker) Stoltzfus, of Beavertown. On Oct. 20, 2007, in Mifflinburg, he married the former Krista E. Burkholder, who survives.

Gerald was a member of the Beaver Springs Missions Church, where he was an usher and assisted with maintenance of the church. He will be missed by his church family for his hearty handshake, ready smile and his joy for life.

He was employed for Mid-State Poured Walls, Beavertown.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by: one son, Collin T. Stoltzfus; one daughter, Brooklyn G. Stoltzfus; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jason and Allison Stoltzfus, of Penns Creek, LaVerne and Anne Stoltzfus, of Troxelville, and Preston Stoltzfus, of Beavertown; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Glenda and Merv King, of McAllisterville, and Jenny Stoltzfus, of Beavertown; and maternal grandparents, Vernon and Katie Schmucker, of Honduras.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dan and Emma Stoltzfus.

Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, 1653 Creek Road, Middleburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Shetler officiating.

Burial will be in the Beavertown God’s Missionary Church Cemetery.
