Anna J. ‘Jean’ Rogers
LEWISTOWN Anna J. “Jean” Rogers, 82, of Lewistown, died at 11:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on Dec. 29, 1930, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Vincent L. and Margaret (Simmons) Folk.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Rogers, on Feb. 28, 2001; a son, Steven Rogers; and a grandson, Ryan Kulp.
Jean is survived by: children, Linda Silks and husband, Michael, of Lewistown, Terry Kulp and husband, Alan, of Florida, Douglas Rogers, of Burnham, Scott Rogers, of Dillsburg, Dora Rogers, of Lewistown, and Mark Rogers and wife, Christine, of Lewistown; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and siblings, John Folk Sr. and Deb, of North Carolina, and Susan Gardner and husband, Richard, of Lewistown.
She was retired from Goss’s Candy and attended the Salvation Army.
Jean loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and loved her cats.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
Private graveside services will be held with the Rev. John Walters officiating.
