Warren H. Knepp

LANDISVILLE – Warren H. Knepp, 77, of Landisville, entered into the loving arms of his savior on Sept. 4, 2013, after an illness of 26 months.

Born Dec. 22, 1935, at home in Decatur Township, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Mildred E. Bowersox Knepp. He was the loving husband of Judy Ann Schreiber Knepp and they celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary in May.

Warren graduated from Lewistown Vocational High School. After moving to Lancaster County, he worked for 31 years as a tool and die maker at RCA Corporation and after the plant closed, he worked for two years at Berg Electronics, York County, from where he retired.

Warren was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Columbia. An avid hunter, he enjoyed traveling to his cabin in Huntingdon County, which he and his wife built.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: a son, Steven R., husband of Diane Woomert Knepp, of Manheim; a daughter, Kimbra J., wife of Melvin Huber, of Mount Joy; stepson, Steven T. Mark, of Lititz; stepdaughter, Kelly L. Garcia, of Manheim; four grandchildren, Jere, Jordan, Mackenzie and Jeremy; two great-grandchildren, Landis and Hayden; and a brother, James Klinger, of Lewistown.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Hoffman Knepp, and two brothers, Robert C. and Leonard A. Knepp.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim. Interment will be in Lititz Moravian Cemetery.

There will be a public viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Please omit flowers.
