Margaret A. “Peg” Warner Rollins Babb
COCOA, Fla. – Margaret A. “Peg” Warner Rollins Babb, 95, of Cocoa, Fla., formerly of Burnham, died Aug. 15, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Carol A. Hoar, at 5965 Cannon Ave., Cocoa, Fla.
She was born Oct. 11, 1917, in Huntingdon County, to Cloyd Magee Knode and Catherine Sophia Wagner Knode.
She was preceded in death by: three husbands, Sherman P. Warner, Gail Rollins and Philip Babb; one daughter, Linda R. Jones, who died Apr. 25, 2013, at the home of her sister, Carol A. Hoar; one brother; two sisters; three sons-in-law; and one grandson.
Surviving are: children, Donald (Jean) Warner, of Burnham, Mrs. Carol A. Hoar, of Cocoa, Fla., and Darlis (James) Moore, of Sparta, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary (Ken) Garner and Ruth Stevens; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
While residing in Florida, she worked at a dress shop and as a florist. She was a member of First Baptist Port St. John Church.
Her memorial service was on Aug. 18, 2013, at First Baptist Port St. John Church, with the Revs. Andrew Carrington and Timothy Griffith officiating. Peg was interred at the Lutheran cemetery in Belleville.
