Judith A. Cavanaugh

YORK – Judith A Cavanaugh, 69, formerly of Lewistown died Sunday Sept 8, 2013, at Colonial Manor York. She was born Dec. 13, 1943, in Lewistown, the daughter of the late Martin L. Wilson, Sr. and Minnie (Powell) Duncan.

Judi is survived by: children, Scott Alan Taylor and wife Mary, of Etters, Christi Kline and husband Christopher, of Lewistown, Stephanie Logan and husband Doug, of Burnham, Courtney Cavanaugh, of Harrisburg; brothers and sisters, Martin “Spunk” Wilson, Jr., Thompsontown, Ellen Loudenslager, of Ga., Jan Booher, of Burnham, Thomas Wilson, of Yeagertown; grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsey, Emily, Kendra, Dougie, Alexis, Jakob, Rylee, Tavian, Anye; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Elijah, Kaelynn, Lydon, Hayden, Evan.

Judi waitressed at many area restaurants and was a switchboard operator at the Lewistown Hospital.

She was a graduate of Chief Logan High School Class of 1961 where she was Football Queen and a cheerleader.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Barr Funeral Home, Inc. 120 Logan Street, with Mr. Murray Laite officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery. The viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home.
